1.      Power machine on and hit F-10 for Setup.
2.      Once in the BIOS, change boot order of HD Controller to first.
3.      Hit F1 to save changes.
4.      Boot off Smart Start CD Select English Smart Start Process
5.      Set Date/Time [next] [next] Agree to License
6.      Choose Guided Installation [Begin]
7.      Choose Windows NT Server 4.0 [Begin]
8.      Begin configuring your controllers [Continue]
9.      View Current Configuration [OK] [Next]
10.     Specify RAID Configuration…configure as RAID 5
11.     [Continue] [Finish] System will reboot
12.     Smart Start Production Selection prompt is displayed [select] Install software from CD only [Next]
13.     Additional Software Selection - leave as default [Next]
14.     Insert Compaq Management CD when prompted [OK]
15.     Guided Pre-Installation Interview [Continue] [Next]
16.     Automated Server Recovery [Continue]
17.     [Select] Windows NT boot partition size 4000 NTFS file system [Continue]
18.     [Select] Per Seat and server type install as a BDC [Continue] [Next] 
19.     Compaq Management Agents leave default selection [Next] [Continue]
20.     Interviews complete [Continue]
21.     Diskette Builder [Continue]
22.     System will reboot [Continue] 
23.     System will format EISA Utilities partition
24.     Insert Compaq Management CD when prompted [OK]
25.     Insert Smart Start CD when prompted [OK]
26.     Insert Windows NT Server 4.0 CD when prompted [OK] [OK]
27.     F8 to Accept License Agreement [Next]
28.     Name: MIS Organization:  Microsoft Corp.
29.     Enter CD Key 
30.     Enter Computer Name: ExchSrvRestore [Next]
31.     Do not install IIS [Next]
32.     Start search for adapters specify correct NIC in machine [Next]
33.     Select to use DHCP for IP Addressing [Next]
34.     Join server to the MY domain [Next] system will reboot
35.     Use Disk Administrator Utility to create another partition with remaining disk space
36.     Install NT Service Pack 4 and reboot when prompted
37.     Install additional Compaq drivers from Smart Start CD [Reboot]
38.     Install NT Service Pack 6a and reboot when prompted
39.     Remove network connection from machine
40.     Promote machine to Primary Domain Controller through Server Manager 
41.     Rename machine to EXCHSRV [Reboot]
42.     Insert Exchange 5.5 CD and run the Setup.exe
43.     Choose Custom Setup select Exchange Administrator and Server [OK]
44.     Enter License Code when prompted [OK]
45.     Select Configure New Site [OK]
46.     Organization Name: MY Site Name: TX [OK]
47.     Run Exchange Optimizer 
48.     Change drive letter of selections made by Exchange Optimizer to drive created in (Step 35)
49.     Install Exchange Service Pack 3 reboot when prompted
50.     Insert ARCserveIT Workgroup/Advanced Editions For Windows NT and install the NT Client Agent
51.     Select to install Standard Setup under the ARCserveIT 6.61 for Windows NT - Advanced Edition
directory [Install]
52.     After ARCserveIT Manager is installed…install the Exchange Backup Agent
53.     Install ARCserveIT Service Pack 1
54.     Launch ARCserveIT Manager and check to make sure that Tape Drive and Device has been detected
55.     Merge contents of tape into the ARCserveIT Database
56.     Once Database has been merged successfully choose to restore by session
57.     Select to restore the Directory and Information Store under Exchange Organization\ Site:TX
\Server:EXCHSRV \Microsoft Exchange Server (Source Tab in ARCserveIT Manager)
58.     After completion of Restoration Job…Delete the edb.log from %driveletter%:\dsadata\edb.log and
%driveletter%:\mdbdata\edb.log
Start the Exchange Directory and Information Store service
